Created in response to the growing need for protection of Australian indigenous art, IDENTEART is providing a solution to an international market via its innovative Identifyz branded security and labelling technologies.
With local Australian art galleries’ involvement, an IDENTEART label is placed behind each Australian indigenous artwork. The details of the artwork are then added to a unique database for authenticity and traceability purposes. Any user can scan the label with an iPhone/Android phone, (or any similar device) and will be directed to IDENTEART’s website where important and relevant information is provided. This solution offers art buyer’s total piece of mind in knowing the artwork is authentic.
Asset Management System
The art galleries are in charge of managing the IDENTEART data, by providing the details and updating them when needed (e.g. a transfer of ownership). IDENTEART hosts the data and ensures it is secure, updated and accessible to everyone
